FLCL: Canti
This personal project involves creating a 3D rig based on the character Canti from the anime FLCL. The process includes 3D modeling and rigging using Autodesk Maya, sculpting in Pixologic Zbrush, and texturing with Substance Painter.
The Fooly Cooly Process
Studied a variety of references from different mediums to try to get it as closely accurate as I could. Looked at various scenes from the anime, character concept art, official figurine, etc. Took different elements from each one and put my own spin to it.

Rigging
Showcase of the rig features, controls, and its picker. This is a joint based rig that is game ready for both Unreal and Unity.
Features include space switching, scale-able parts, bendy bones, driven key facial features, etc.
