FLCL: Robot
This personal project involves creating a 3D rig based on an enemy robot character from the anime FLCL. The process includes 3D modeling and rigging using Autodesk Maya, sculpting in Pixologic Zbrush, and texturing with Substance Painter.
The Fooly Cooly Process
The process was a bit different to the other FLCL model, Canti. This character only starred in one fight scene in Episode 2. It was quite hard to study the character in the anime so I looked at the one concept art by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto as my main reference.
